Project Overview

Naut brings together marine engineering and clean energy, crafting electric outboards that deliver instant torque, low maintenance, and a quieter ocean experience.

The promise of silent torque counts for little if skippers can’t see range, charge, or alerts in real time. Naut approached Edition to translate complex telemetry into an elegant interface for its showcase fleet. We audited maritime standards, mapped day-trip scenarios, and delivered a dark-mode UI for Garmin and mobile that balances sunlight legibility with high-contrast, colour-coded warnings.

Scalable design system.

Built in Figma, the component library distils buttons, gauges, sliders, and alert icons into reusable blocks with embedded accessibility rules. Developers can drop a pre-themed module into new screens and trust typography, spacing, and colour contrast meet maritime guidelines.
