After years leading design and strategy inside enterprise agencies, our founders saw how layers of process, slow decision-making, and high overheads limited quality and speed. So they built the partner they thought needed to exist: a design-led team purpose-built for technology companies — equally effective shaping an MVP as accelerating growth off the back of a Series C. We are headquartered in Auckland, New Zealand, with a physical presence in Australia. We back founders with the conviction and market insight to build something that matters. ## How we engage Edition offers three engagement models: **Project-based:** Clearly defined scope, dedicated project team, single delivery. Best for founders and teams who know what needs to be built. Typically 1–3 months. **Team-based:** A dedicated team embedded at a set capacity, working through a prioritised backlog with multiple deliveries over time. Operates as an extension of your internal team or a fully outsourced function. Typically 3+ months. **Venture studio:** For early-stage founders where the opportunity is compelling for both sides, Edition co-invests its design and engineering capability in exchange for equity.
